GoodSearch: You Search...We Give!

We have helped rescue hundreds of critters. Click on a picture to read an animal's story.
Cora - This full-of-personality hen was seconds away from becoming part of a casserole when a saddened family member took matters into his own hands. And see the hilarious video of her a few months later, jumping for grapes.
Devlin - This sheep friend isn’t the least bit sheepish.  He loves long walks, back rubs and carrots, and has completely forgiven the human race for the cruelties committed against him and his friends.
Olivia - One of the most memorable animals on the farm because of her fantasy-like beauty -- or her tendency to get playfully feisty -- this goat knows how to impress the visitors.
Aven - One of our special-needs chickens, he has a strange eyesight problem which makes it hard for him to aim for food when he eats.
Patsy & Judy - These orphans came from a suspected serial neglecter in Maryland.
Pecan - This hen was brought to us on the brink of starvation and was unable to walk. Read her incredible success story!
Elvis - This beautiful steer was destined to become veal until he was rescued by a caring animal lover. Now Elvis is king of the farm and of our hearts.
Julie - As a young piglet she survived a contest at a brewery called "The Running of the Pigs," where the “winner” was slaughtered and cooked for everyone to eat at the end of the race.
Dylan - Some New York residents saw this little dude at a dairy farm stuck to the ground in his own feces. One week later, he could call WFAS home.
Madison - Who knew a 180 pound Alpine goat could be so cuddly?
Brandy - This very cool rooster was rescued from certain death at an egg farm. Now he's equally at home sleeping in your lap as he is cavorting with the hens.
